Overlooking the Ocean River, Mount Veniaminof, and the Aleutian Range, Wildman Lodge is your home base—where your adventure begins and where you return once your hunt is complete. From the lodge, our bush planes and jet boats take you deep into sprawling acres of premier brown bear and moose country. Most of your hunt will be spent in remote spike camps, which are closely supported by our seasoned guides and bush pilots to ensure your safety and success every step of the way.

Your hunt includes a fully guided excursion for up to the duration of your contracted dates, along with all meals, comfortable lodging, and internal transportation provided by Wildman Lodge.

Airfare between Anchorage and the lodge, guide gratuities, meat and hide processing or shipping, and all required licenses and tags are not included.

All guests should fly into Ted Stevens Anchorage International Airport. From Anchorage, selected charter services transport hunters to and from Wildman Lodge.

A comprehensive gear list created by our guides will be provided upon booking to ensure you’re fully prepared for your hunt.

You are responsible for arranging travel to Anchorage. Once you arrive, a Wildman Lodge team member will provide a detailed travel itinerary to guide you to the lodge and back. Due to the remoteness of the Alaska Peninsula and variable weather, itineraries may adjust, but we work hard to keep travel as smooth as possible.

You will need an Alaska hunting license, the appropriate species tag, and a registration hunt permit. Specific details and direct links will be provided to you in a timely manner to ensure you have everything required well before your hunt.

After arrival at the lodge, you will head directly to your spike camp for the duration of your hunt. When you return from the field, you will stay overnight at the lodge while return flights to Anchorage are finalized.

After your hunt, guides and lodge staff will properly tag and document your game, then handle initial processing and preparation for shipment. You’ll return to the lodge as weather allows, where staff will assist with final steps before your trip back to Anchorage.
